How will the system provide the right color photograph?
Color matching is reliant on finding a match between information entered in to the DMS system and the eVox color description or color code.
Manually added vehicles in WMX Dealer Tools must exactly match the exterior color description with the eVox color description (not Chrome). To help users pick a color that will exactly match, the inventory edit page in WMX Dealer Tools has been modified with a [...] button that will show all the color descriptions that have associated stock photos.
What happens if the system can’t make a match?
If no color match is found, and colorized stock photos exist for the vehicle, the colorized stock photo is selected at random. If no colorized stock photo exists for that vehicle, a Chrome stock photo will be displayed. If no Chrome stock photos are found, “Photo Not Available” will be displayed.
